Meet Isla. 💜
Isla is six years old and the inspiration behind Beyond the Diagnosis.
She has rare chromosome abnormalities, developmental delays and additional needs, but those things are only one small part of who she is.
Isla is funny, loving, determined and full of personality. She loves spending time with her family, enjoys cuddles, and is a wonderful big sister to her two-year-old sister and baby brother.
Every achievement Isla makes is hard-earned and celebrated. Through this blog, I hope to share not only the challenges that come with a rare diagnosis, but also the joy, laughter and milestones that make her so special.
To us, Isla is not a diagnosis.
She is simply Isla. 💜
